The Tanzanite Foundation is a non-profit, industry supported organisation, dedicated to protecting and promoting Tanzanite on behalf of all ethical and socially responsible operators within the Tanzanite Industry. By working to standardise methods of practice and conduct, the Tanzanite Foundation seeks to uphold an ethical route to market in accordance with the Tuscon Tanzanite Protocols.

The Foundation was founded by TanzaniteOne in 2003 and it invests in meaningful, sustainable projects developed in harmony with the indigenous communities of Tanzania.
