On August 1st 2011, TanzaniteOne Mining Limited became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Richland Resources Limited. (AIM:RLD). Under the Richland umbrella, TanzaniteOne continues to operate as the world's largest and most advanced Tanzanite extractor.

We own the mining licence for Block C - a significant portion of the only known Tanzanite producing resource. We also own extensive prospecting licences for potential mining areas adjacent to this.

Our state-of-the-art facility produces a consistent and high quality supply of Tanzanite and our processes always take into account the environmental and social impact.

By strictly adhering to existing laws that uphold human rights and justice, we ensure our Tanzanite is conflict free. You can be confident that gemstones mined by TanzaniteOne have never contributed to any bloodshed or violence.

A strong focus on the safety of our operations has seen our frequency of Lost Time Injuries drop well below the average for the Diamond Industry. This is something we continue to work on reducing.

We take the environment very seriously at TanzaniteOne, carefully considering development and constantly always reviewing the effects of disturbance. We carry out concurrent reclamation, landscape regeneration and revegetation projects, to help maintain ecological balance.
